Healing Pipe Ceremony and Lowanpi Healing Ceremony are being offered by our Dear Friends, Vinny and Neal Rzepkowski (Singer/Drummer).
WOMEN ON MOON CYCLE (their menstrual period, even beginning such!) ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY CEREMONIES. Women’s energies during such times are not conducive to these ceremonies. Please be honest and respectful regarding this requirement. Spirit has been known to inform the Medicine Man when this rule was being disrespected.

*BRING A SPIRITUAL OFFERING in One Envelop Per Event – Bring with you to Event Please.
**SPIRITUAL OFFERING SUGGESTIONS FOR EACH TYPE EVENT. (Many make offerings of $50 to over $100 per event… or as they are able. Spirit knows your Gift’s Heart. Sit still and ask Spirit what to Offer at EACH EVENT. Your Healing is Priceless!)
REMEMBER, WE NEED TO COVER OUR SPEAKER’S TRAVEL AND LIVING EXPENSES WHILE SERVING OUR CHURCH. WHEN WE GIVE SELFLESSLY TO A HIGHER HEALING POWER IN SUCH CEREMONIES ANY AMOUNT THAT IS A CHALLENGE, THAT TUG IN OUR HEART IS WHAT SPIRIT NOTICES AND ADMIRES. THEY BLESS US, HEAL US, ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS… DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH ENERGY EXCHANGE (SACRIFICE) WE HAVE OFFERED TO THE REPRESENTATIVE (Medicine Man) FOR SPIRIT’s WORKS, ON THEIR BEHALF.
The ceremonies will be what is called a “Lowáŋpi” and a “Pipe Ceremony”. Both are very powerful prayer ceremonies where the Helper Spirits will listen to your prayers and help you with them. Pipe Ceremony and Lowanpi ceremony will take place in classroom 8 upstairs at Metaphysical Chapel.
The focus in these types of ceremonies is YOU and whatever your special needs and requests for the current year and beyond are. Put your intentions and prayers strongly forward towards each ceremony you plan to attend so that the Spirits can see what your needs are when they come in.
You should be aware of some traditional Lakota customs and some things that this Medicine Man would like you to know:
-Women on moon time (menstrual period) should not be around these ceremonies.
-Traditional lowanpi attire: Women with below the knees dress or skirt, men with long pants for lowanpi/yuwipi.
-No pets should be brought with you.
-If you tie prayer ties at home, there should be no domestic animal around in the same building where you make your ties. You could go out to your car to make them if needed.
-If you bring food for the Lowanpi or Pipe ceremony, it should not be tasted at all before part of it is offered during the ceremony to the Spirits.
Here is what I would like you to know:
You must contact me directly by phone/text (pardon my spelling out #s preventing robot callers) [954-three hundred – 4616] to discuss your SPONSORING DONATIONS to ATTEND any of the events. While there is technically no charge for ceremony, I am Flying in and Accommodating this Medicine Man and his special Ceremony Singer (all round-trip from Rapid City, South Dakota and Buffalo, New York) to make these RARE SACRED HEALING events possible for our Metaphysical Chapel family. There are many Expenses to cover. Please be GENEROUS and of course patient with this process that is likely new for you to consider. *Our Karmic Laws apply here – We Must GIVE in Order to RECEIVE.
You must not be afraid of total darkness for any of the hosted ceremonies (Lowanpi Only)
Bring a cushion to sit on the ceremony room floor. We also have chairs if you can’t sit on the floor. Our medicine man is very traditional in practice, so please try to respect his wishes and ways.
If you don’t know what a lowanpi or pipe ceremony is, you can research it on-line (or below) and call Rev. Kevin Lee to find out more. Don’t sign up for something you have no idea about.
*Critical to Understand – these ceremonies are approximately 20,000 years old and are viewed as highly sacred HEALING ceremonies. THEY ARE NOT SEANCES! DO NOT SPEAK OF THEM AS SUCH to Medicine Man or any attendee. This is highly disrespectful to Native ways.
*FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MEDICINE MAN, DISRESPECTFULLY QUESTIONING HIM OR US THE HOST WILL RESULT IN YOUR LEAVING THE EVENT. HIGH VIBRATIONAL ATTITUDE IS REQUIRED!

*100% Cotton Cloth, RED (Walmart)
*Cheap Pack of Loose Cut Tobacco NOT CHEWING TOBACCO BUT CUT SMOKING TOBACCO (Walgreens has this – I have found them locally – dont let them tell you they dont!)
WHAT EACH GUEST IS TO BRING –
Follow these guidelines depending on type of ceremony you are attending:
Lowanpi – 12 RED ties on one string (1-2” apart); bring some food to share for 5 other guests – dont eat or taste it as it is sacred offering AFTER event.
Pipe Ceremony – No Prayer Ties required – Just come and enjoy! Do Bring some food to share for 5 other guests – dont eat or taste it as it is sacred offering AFTER event.
Different Types of Native Ceremonies:
A Lowanpi ceremony is a prayer ceremony that takes place entirely in the completely darkened ceremony-room. It lasts longer than a sweat lodge…a few hours. We will have some pot luck food following this ceremony as well. Bring a dish or beverage to pass for 6 or 7 other folks. It is a great opportunity to ask the spirits for whatever help you may need for you and your loved ones through the winter.
A Pipe Ceremony’s symbology – the smoke coming from the mouth symbolizes the truth being spoken, and the plumes of smoke provide a path for prayers to reach the Great Spirit, and for the Great Spirit to travel down to Mother Earth.
